We're seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to support the successful delivery of commercial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, biopharma, clean room, manufacturing, and semiconductor construction projects throughout Connecticut.
Key Responsibilities
+ Assist with daily site operations, field coordination, and subcontractor management.
+ Support project schedules to ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved.
+ Conduct site inspections and promote compliance with safety and quality standards.
+ Coordinate with project managers, clients, engineers, architects, and field teams.
+ Review and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
+ Monitor work progress and proactively identify and resolve field issues.
+ Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and workforce coordination activities.
+ Utilize Procore, MS Project, Sage, and Bluebeam to support project execution and reporting.
+ Help deliver projects ranging from $500K to $20M, including ground-up construction, renovations, fit-outs, and specialty clean room environments.
Qualifications
+ 7+ years of construction field supervision, assistant superintendent, superintendent, or project management experience.
+ Strong understanding of commercial construction practices, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
+ Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
+
Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and take-offs.
+ Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, MS Project, and Sage.
+ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
+ Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, biopharma, manufacturing, semiconductor, or clean room projects is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
+ OSHA certification.
+ PMP certification or pursuit of certification.
+ Experience using Bluebeam.
+ Experience working in highly regulated or technically sophisticated construction environments.

Work Environment
This position is based in Connecticut with projects located throughout Fairfield, Hartford, and New Haven Counties, along with occasional work in Poughkeepsie, NY. You'll split your time between active job sites and company offices, supporting a diverse portfolio of projects, including clean rooms, healthcare facilities, manufacturing plants, office fit-outs, renovations, and ground-up construction.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danbury, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $180000.00/hr.
