An exciting role as Customer Service Representative in our facility located in Danbury, Connecticut.

In this role you will, under general supervision, work directly with the customers to provide knowledgeable, friendly, courteous answers to inquiries. In this role you will receive and process product orders, confirmations, monitors shipping and/or delivery of products to customers, coordinate complaints with the appropriate departments, work with various customer portals.

This position covers a range of activities including:

  • Provides timely response to customers placing orders and responds to inquiries regarding product, pricing and other information requested.
  • Provides sales coordination and problem resolution when required.
  • Provides lead information to sales department regarding potential customers and product inquiries.
  • Enters and maintains customer contracts and bids.
  • Follows up on orders placed, shipping /delivery schedules and notifies customers.
  • Interfaces with Production and QC concerning back-orders and re-evaluations.
  • Knowledge of shipping, receiving and product inventory procedures as they apply to order processing.
  • Knowledge of company’s products and terms so as to provide clear information to customers.
  • Complies with all BRI environmental, and safety policies and procedures.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma or GED and three to five years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Ability to be friendly, courteous, and dedicated to answering inquiries. Ensure that customers feel valued.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure a positive interaction for our domestic and international customers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Teamwork skills to work effectively with key departments.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, and data entry. Excellent verbal and written skills necessary.
