About the job Oral Surgeon Job in Danbury

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated oral surgeon to join our client's oral surgery office. This is a busy and very reputable private office that is seeking a full time surgeon. Part time would be considered as well.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in oral and maxillofacial procedures, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. As an Oral Surgeon, you will perform complex surgical interventions, including dental extractions, implant placements, and other advanced oral surgeries, while ensuring the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and patient comfort. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment that values clinical excellence and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive oral surgical procedures such as dental extractions, placing implants, bone grafting and more.
  • Conduct preoperative assessments and develop personalized treatment plans based on thorough patient evaluations.
  • Utilize advanced medical imaging techniques to diagnose and plan surgical interventions accurately.
  • Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures.
  • Collaborate with general dentists, pediatric dentists, and specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Document all medical and dental procedures accurately within electronic health records using systems such as Epic or Eaglesoft.
  • Educate patients on post-operative care instructions, potential risks, and recovery processes to promote optimal healing.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of all patient medical records and sensitive information.

Requirements:

  • Completed a DDS or DMD program
  • Completed or be in the process of completing an oral surgery residency
  • Ability to obtain a Connecticut dental license
