Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner ​/ Physician Assistant - Outpatient

Outpatient Psychiatry Opportunity – Danbury, Connecticut

Nuvance Health (Northwell Health) is seeking a full‑time outpatient psychiatrist for our Danbury, Connecticut office. The position is in a hybrid model with tele‑health and in‑person care and includes limited hospital coverage obligations. The role offers a sign‑on bonus, relocation allowance, and a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Danbury is located in suburban Fairfield County, Connecticut, about 60 miles northeast of New York City and near the New York State border. The hospital is a Level II Trauma Center with 371 beds and serves approximately 70,000 ED visits per year.

• Provide outpatient psychiatric care with a hybrid tele‑health and in‑person model.
• Participate in teaching appointments with psychiatry residents and medical students from the University of Vermont and other affiliated schools.
• Provide limited hospital coverage as needed.
• Engage in clinical research and trials coordinated by the network's centralized research department.

• Board certified or board eligible in psychiatry.
• Strong tele‑health and outpatient practice skills.
• Experience working in a teaching hospital or with residents and medical students is preferred.
• Commitment to quality, CME participation, and ongoing professional development.

Salary range: $105,000 – $150,000 annually. The compensation package includes generous CME and dues allowances, CME time, and a competitive per‑diem rate for weekend hospital coverage.
