Duties- Instruct preschool students in activities designed to promote intellectual, physical and creative growth.
- Create a fun and safe learning environment.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and co‑workers.
- Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress.
- Maintain the health and safety of all students.
- Must have AS or BA in ECE or CDA.
- Must have OEC head teacher certification.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be available for an 8‑hour shift 5 days a week.
- Previous experience in childcare, teaching a plus.
- Passionate about working with children.
- Ability to build a rapport with children and parents.
- Positive and patient demeanor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience creating and carrying out curriculum.
- First Aid and CPR.
- Experience with School Readiness.
- Experience with lesson planning with CT ELDS and DOTS.
