Accounting Instructor/Assistant Professor, Non‑Tenure Track, One‑Year Special Appointment – Academic Year 2026‑2027
Western Connecticut State University’s Ancell School of Business, an AACSB‑accredited school, is accepting applications for a one‑year special appointment in the Accounting Department.

Qualifications• Instructor level: master’s degree, CPA licensure, and substantial experience in accounting.
• Assistant professor level: doctorate in accounting or related field (ABDs considered).
• College teaching experience is preferred; professional engagement in university service or business/managerial experience is a plus.
Areas of teaching:
Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Taxation, Advanced Accounting.
The teaching load is four courses per semester, with duties in student advising and service.
Salary & BenefitsThe hiring salary range is $71,317–$76,192 for instructors and $80,713–$86,231 for assistant professors. Salary is commensurate with experience. Faculty receive a comprehensive benefits package, including travel and research funds.
