Position Summary

The College is seeking part‑time non‑credit lecturers who are passionate about inspiring and training the next generation of Manufacturing workers. Classes may be taught on‑ground and/or online.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Teaching courses within the assigned discipline area in accordance with institutional standards
  • Evaluating and assessing student learning outcomes
  • Providing student support, mentoring, and academic advising
  • Developing curriculum and periodically reviewing and updating instructional materials
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current Industry Certification in the field you are applying to
  • Related work experience in the field you are applying to
  • Ability to present curriculum in a classroom or lab environment
  • For Plumbing:
    Must be a P1 Plumber
  • For Welding:
    One (1) or more years of work experience in the field of welding
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Additional qualifications may be requested, as relevant to the academic department
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching in workforce development, adult education, continuing education, or non‑credit training programs, particularly in short‑term certificate or credential‑aligned programs
  • Experience designing or delivering customized training programs (onsite, online, or hybrid)
  • Knowledge of the current industry trends and workforce needs
  • Two (2) or more years of practical experience in the field for which you are applying with an understanding of industry credentialing or licensure requirements
