The Leonardo DRS Naval Power Systems business is a trusted provider of innovative naval gas and hybrid power systems, control technology and support solutions for the U.S. Navy and navies around the world.

The Master Scheduler provides scheduling and planning for major and/or strategic programs. Review project proposals to determine impact on schedule and resources. Provide analysis and project support to assigned program workload. Analysis includes reviewing scope and schedule performance. Develop schedules that include project phasing, project milestones, and represent critical relationships between program tasks as required to plan, coordinate, and visualize all significant program activities.

Analyze trends, develop reports, facilitate communication and provide feedback on program performance. May manage a small team of Program Analysts.

• Provide scheduling, planning, and analytical support for major and/or strategic programs, including scope, cost, and schedule performance analysis.
• Develop and maintain integrated, resource-loaded schedules with defined phases, milestones, and critical task relationships.
• Support Program and Project Managers in developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Estimates to Complete (ETCs), Estimates at Completion (EACs), variance reports, and recovery plans.
• Perform critical path, earned value, risk, and trend analyses; develop reports and provide regular program status updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Business Development, subcontractors, and vendors, to assess schedule impacts, support proposal efforts, and ensure program plans are executable.
• Advise management on risks affecting cost, schedule, technical performance, and profitability, including contract type considerations (Cost Plus, T&M, FFP).

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 8 years of Program Planning & Scheduling utilizing Microsoft Project or equivalent.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process.
• Successful track record as part of a Project Management Team.
• Experience with Earned Value Management System (EV/EVMS).
• Experienced in Schedule Analysis.
• Familiarity with PMI and related Project Management and Scheduling best practices.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Project desired.
• Demonstrated experience in using MS Office suite products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Strong oral and written communications skills.

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
