* The Opportunity:

** Under minimal supervision, perform duties to set up and conduct testing on electro-optical systems while being subjected to environmental stresses such as vacuum, temperature, and vibration.

This position supports a rotating 4-on, 4-off schedule from 6:00AM - 6:30PM.
** Responsibilities:
*** This position will require an understanding of complex assemblies and processes dealing with environmental testing.
* Set up and perform varied electro-optical tests while subjecting products to environmental stresses.
* Maintain and complete detailed test procedures and data analysis.
* Set up, perform, and support other environmental lab tests.
* Perform test equipment preventative maintenance activities.
* Maintain environmental chambers and related support equipment.
* Install and instrument the hardware to be tested. Maintain all test logs, update status board and    interface with test and quality engineers.
* Work also includes maintaining the area (5S).

* Required:

** High School Diploma or equivalent
* 5-10 years of experience in an Environmental Test Lab
* Skilled in the operation of test lab equipment and the performance of testing
* Intermediate computer skills with ability to utilize standard business software (i.e. MS Office and Outlook)
* Solid written and verbal communication skills
* Desired:
** Associates/Technical Degree (two years) - Preferred
* Experienced in the operation of test lab equipment (I.E. thermal-vacuum chambers)
* Hands-on experience in the operation and set up of computerized thermal control and data acquisition systems
* Experienced in the set up and performance of electrical, mechanical and optical functional testing following defined test procedures or as directed by engineering
* Hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of computerized vibration control and data acquisition systems including vibration exciters and amplifiers

The proposed salary range for this position is:$49,900 - $100,000
