Join a dynamic manufacturing team focused on supporting prototype development, process optimization, and production readiness initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing technologies while driving process improvements, ensuring product quality, and supporting the transition of innovative products from development into production.
Key Responsibilities- Define, plan, and execute prototype and development projects while ensuring compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
- Optimize manufacturing and processing parameters to improve product performance, quality, and efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and troubleshoot manufacturing processes and workstation parameters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project execution and achieve deliverables on schedule.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation to support manufacturing activities.
- Generate and maintain process documentation, setup instructions, and manufacturing records.
- Support customer quotations and provide technical input for project planning and execution.
- Develop and maintain inspection and metrology programs to support product verification activities.
- Monitor manufacturing data and metrics to ensure process consistency and data integrity.
- Lead technical discussions with internal teams and customers as needed.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) and transition projects from development into full-scale production.
- Mentor junior technicians and engineers, providing technical guidance and skills development.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support overall manufacturing objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2–6 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment.
- Experience supporting prototype development, process development, and manufacturing operations.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing documentation.
- Experience with process validation, continuous improvement, and troubleshooting manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to engineering challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Experience with Wire EDM or Sinker EDM machining.
- Experience programming and setting up manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of rapid prototyping and new process development.
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment such as Medical Devices, Aerospace, or Advanced Manufacturing.
