Title: CNC Process Engineer – Medical Device Manufacturing

Location: Greater Danbury Area, CT (Fully Onsite)

About the Role

Join a manufacturing engineering team supporting the development and production of precision medical device components. This role focuses on CNC Programming
, Process Engineering
, and optimizing manufacturing processes from prototype through production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC programs and manufacturing processes for prototype and production products.
  • Establish and improve manufacturing/process engineering workflows to ensure quality, efficiency, and repeatability.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings using GD&T, documenting process parameters and work instructions.
  • Support process validation activities including DOE
    , OQ/PQ
    , Process Capability
    , TMV/GRR
    , and engineering studies.
  • Program and troubleshoot computer-controlled inspection and metrology equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, support customer projects, and mentor junior engineering staff.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
    , Science
    , or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–6 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering within a Medical Device manufacturing environment.
  • Hands‑on experience with CNC Programming
    , machine setup, and Process Engineering
    .
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, and 2D/3D CAD.
  • Experience with DOE
    , OQ/PQ
    , TMV/GRR
    , Process Capability
    , and manufacturing validation activities.
