Key Responsibilities- Monitor and report customer performance, ensuring timely corrective actions are implemented.
- Collaborate with customers on new process approvals and process changes.
- Perform FAI/PPAP activities and customer-delegated DQR responsibilities.
- Maintain customer visit and audit schedules.
- Support audits, process standardization, waste elimination, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Monitor and improve supplier and customer KPIs.
- Lead problem-solving and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of nonconformances.
- Resolve customer technical issues promptly to maintain supply continuity.
- Support long-term customer relationships and cost reduction initiatives.
- Travel as needed to support customers and job responsibilities.
- Support achievement of local and global KPIs.
- Communicate effectively and promote company policies, procedures, and mission.
- Comply with export control, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Promote Lean principles and continuous improvement within the team.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a technical discipline, or an equivalent qualification with demonstrated competency
- Strong ability to prioritize effectively, work independently, and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Results-oriented with a strong customer service mindset
- Knowledge of AIAG tools and related industry standards, including PPAP, APQP, QSA, MSA, SPC, and FMEA
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
- This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
Preferred:
- Background in a manufacturing or similar environment
- Proven success working in both functional and cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Knowledge of AS9100 is considered an asset
