- In this role, you will report to the Associate Tax Director, US Federal Compliance and Reporting, and will help manage US Federal income tax return filings and related income tax accounting for US GAAP and assist in managing the team
- You will be the primary reviewer and preparer of the US Federal income tax returns (1120, 1065, etc.)
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly estimate Federal income tax calculations, payments, etc
- Prepare the US federal income tax accounting under ASC 740 on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Draft responses to notices and requests for audit on the Federal level
- Be aware of on‑going US legislative changes and lead the efforts around evaluating the impact on the Company’s US federal income tax liability
- Further, you will assist in preparing and presenting executive summaries for and to Senior Executives
- Participate in an ongoing process improvement environment, including automation, into the compliance process to ensure greater accuracy and efficiency
- Also, you will manage and review work produced by a team of 2-3 tax professionals
- You have a Bachelor's degree plus four to six (4–6) years of experience with corporate US federal income tax, preferably including experience with consolidated federal income tax returns, and ASC 740 US GAAP tax accounting knowledge and skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
- You have strong project management skills
- Experience managing individuals
- Strong research and analytical skills
- CPA and experience with Hyperion, CORE, SAP, JDE, CORPTAX (U.S. compliance) and process improvement / automation are preferred
