Corporate Tax Director

A growing organization is seeking a Corporate Tax Director to lead the company’s tax accounting and reporting function, with a primary focus on ASC 740 income tax provisions and secondary responsibility for corporate and partnership tax compliance. Reporting to the Head of Tax Accounting, this role will oversee quarterly and annual tax provisions, support financial reporting and audits, manage key compliance activities, and drive process improvements across the tax function.

• Lead quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provision processes.
• Prepare and review current and deferred tax calculations, tax account reconciliations, and financial statement disclosures.
• Manage effective tax rate analyses and uncertain tax positions.
• Support external audits and collaborate with accounting and finance teams during close cycles.
• Oversee portions of U.S. corporate and partnership tax compliance, including coordination with external providers.
• Monitor tax law changes and assess financial reporting impacts.
• Identify and implement process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
• Support tax planning initiatives and special projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 10+ years of tax experience with strong ASC 740 expertise.
• Combination of public accounting and corporate tax experience preferred.
• Knowledge of corporate income tax and partnership taxation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
