Job Overview

TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for Danbury, Connecticut. This is a 13‑week travel assignment (40 hours per week, 8‑hour days).

• Evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the setting, following guidelines for facility.
• Understand and comply with the respective PT board's rules and regulations within the state.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plan of care.
• Understand and utilize adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care.
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition.
• Use Medical Center computer systems in daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

• Minimum 6 months of professional experience (new graduates encouraged).
• 1 year of experience preferred; exceptional candidates with 6 months acceptable.
• BLS certification (required).
• State‑specific licensing (required).
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Job : #1356096.
