Job SummaryWe are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to provide essential support and meaningful companionship to clients in their homes. Full-time and part-time positions are available. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the client's quality of life by assisting with personal care, household tasks, and providing much-needed social engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Daily Routine Support: Assist with "Activities of Daily Living" (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, and personal hygiene.
- Meal Support: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to client preferences and dietary needs.
- Provide medication reminders as directed.
- Home Management: Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a tidy environment.
- Community Access: Provide transportation for grocery shopping, errands, and medical appointments. and social outings.
- Social Engagement: Offer meaningful companionship, engaging clients in conversation, reading, and recreational activities.
- Safety: Monitor the home environment for fall risks and assist with safe transfers (e.g., from bed to chair).
- Observe and report any changes in the client's physical, mental, or emotional condition to the supervising nurse or office staff.
- Tailored Care Plans: Follow individualized care plans accurately and efficiently.
- Compassion: A genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle (preferred).
- Communication: Ability to follow a written Care Plan and document daily activities.
- Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 25–50 lbs and assist with physical transfers.
