Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility in New Haven County. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of care for our residents while maintaining a positive, engaging work environment for our staff. About the Role:- Overseeing all levels of resident care, ancillary services, and ensuring accountability to all standards of quality care, programs, and services.
- Ensuring that all facility programs are planned, developed, organized, implemented, evaluated, and directed in accordance to company guidelines and state regulations.
- Maintaining a well-maintained, clean, and home-like environment, ensuring safety and security for all residents and staff.
- Responding to facility emergencies, regulatory agency visits, surveys, and issues outside of normal business hours, as needed.
- Collecting, analyzing, and monitoring facility department data/reports on a regular basis to ensure goals are being met and exceeded.
- Ensuring that legal and ethical standards are upheld through on-going review of Corporate Compliance plans.
- Striving for excellence by being visible on all shifts, communicating goals to staff, and driving the development of best practices and quality improvement.
- Overseeing the admissions process, including maintaining 100% signed admission agreements.
- Overseeing training of all facility staff to meet and exceed established state and federal regulations and surveys, as well as developing and implementing plans of correction.
- A current Nursing Home Administrator license in CT.
- A degree in Public Health, Business, Health Services or a health-related degree, preferred.
- Five years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare field, preferred.
