MRI TECHNOLOGIST WANTED - FOR WEEKEND COVERAGE - Experienced MRI Technologist 8 hours every Saturday. Additional hours may be available to cover for vacations. Attention MRI Technologists looking to join a dynamic and growing hospital system. The Danbury Hospital is seeking a MRI Technologist for its Day/Evening shift. This role requires weekend availability – Saturday days – and willingness to cover holidays and call rotation. Candidates with ARRT certification and at least 1 year of experience are urged to apply. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of MRI experience with an ultrasound or CT scan background. This is an opportunity to join a 7-hospital system with great career growth potential.

Performs high-quality diagnostic and accurate MRI procedures to help physicians in the care of their patients.

• Provides optimum patient care.
• Demonstrates knowledge and technical expertise to safely and correctly operate MRI equipment.
• Performs and records quality assurance daily #.
• Develops skills to practice in a safe, clinical environment.
• Develops skills in contrast administration.
• Demonstrates self‑direction and utilizes problem‑solving techniques.
• Cross‑trained in another modality.
• Maintains technical competency in the following less frequent order procedure (2 or more years experience).
• Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience:

$44,000 – $56,040 plus shift differentials.

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Radiographer

• High school graduate or equivalent.

• Significant manual skills / motor coordination & finger dexterity.
• Significant occupational risk.
• Very heavy effort; may exert up to 50 lbs. force.
• Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.

Non‑acute care is offered through various affiliates, including the Thompson House for rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, and the Home Care organizations.
