Full‑time Surgical Physician Assistant position at Danbury Hospital (Nuvance Health) in Danbury, Connecticut.

The role is within our Surgical Advanced Practitioner Services program, providing comprehensive care for surgical patients in all hospital areas, including the Operating Room, Observation, Extended Stay, Emergency Department, and pre‑ and post‑operative care.

• Perform clinical duties for all surgical patients admitted to the hospital.
• Provide consultation and pre‑operative and post‑operative assessment and care.
• Assist with surgeries, including intra‑operative tasks and potential OR assistance as the program expands to 24/7 service.
• Operate on a rotating schedule that includes days, weekends, holidays, and minimal overnight coverage.

• Board‑certified Physician Assistant, preferably with surgical or patient‑management experience or surgical residency training.
• Experience or training with DaVinci robotics is a plus; new graduates are considered.
• Commitment to continuous medical education and associated dues.

Competitive salary range: $120,000–$150,000, commensurate with experience.

Includes allowances for CME and dues expenses.
