Per Diem Medical Practice RN – Pulmonary Department

This Per Diem Medical Practice RN role in the Pulmonary department in Danbury, CT involves providing primary medical care and patient support.

• Assist clinicians by triaging patients via phone or in-person, assessing urgency, and providing medical advice.
• Prepare exam materials, obtain patient histories, and perform procedures such as wound care, vaccinations, and specimen collection.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatments, medications, and preventive care.
• Communicate patient statuses with the care team, follow up with patients, and relay test results or instructions.
• Maintain compliance, demonstrate organizational values, and ensure dependable attendance.

Qualifications include a valid RN license, BLS certification within 30 days, with preferred experience of five years and an associate degree. The position requires medium to heavy physical effort, working Monday-Friday, with a flat rate of $47.74 per hour.
