Night Auditor

Marriott is seeking a Night Auditor and Hotel Operations professional to oversee front desk activities and nightly financial reconciliation. In this overnight role, you will process guest arrivals and departures, balance daily transactions, and ensure accurate posting of room charges, payments, and reports. You will respond to guest requests, handle issues promptly, and monitor lobby and property security. Collaborating with day-shift teams, you'll prepare daily summaries, support housekeeping and operations needs, and uphold Marriott's service and brand standards for a safe, welcoming overnight guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform nightly audit of daily hotel financial transactions and reconcile accounts
• Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments during overnight hours
• Process payments, post charges, and ensure accurate billing in the PMS Generate and distribute nightly and daily summary reports for management
• Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally
• Monitor property access, lobby activity, and adhere to safety protocols
• Coordinate with housekeeping and operations teams on next-day needs
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation for overnight operations
• Resolve discrepancies in folios, cash drawers, and shift reports
• Uphold Marriott brand standards for service, appearance, and professionalism
