Talent Acquisition Specialist (Temp-Perm)

The Talent Acquisition Specialist (Temp-Perm) is responsible for supporting the recruitment for Belimo Americas vacancies and supporting the administrative processes associated with the Talent Acquisition process. This role requires a well‑organized, self‑motivated, forward‑thinking individual with ability to work well with others to accomplish goals and objectives. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is part of the Americas Human Resources Department, reporting to the Talent Acquisition Business Partner - Americas.

• Maintain timely and accurate candidate and requisition information within our ATS platform, Success Factors.
  • Forward relevant and qualified applications to Hiring Managers or disqualify, as needed.
  • Post new positions to external and internal websites, and share with external recruitment partners as necessary.
  • Prescreen new applicants to the recruitment process via phone or video before scheduling 1st round interviews with the hiring manager.
• Proactive candidate management with a quality, high‑touch focus for professional level positions throughout all rounds of interviewing.
• Work with our Recruitment Coordinator on administrative tasks including, but not limited to:
  • Coordination of travel arrangements for final interviews in Danbury, as needed.
  • Building interview itineraries, reserving conference rooms, and ensuring smooth day‑of interview process.
  • Submit visitors to the external visitor system (SINE) and communicate with reception appropriately.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand needs of the department and scope of position directly.
• Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques, including passive candidates with the aim of achieving high quality, cost‑effective and timely filling of roles.
• Deliver exceptional candidate care and ensure that candidates are provided regular and timely updates on the recruitment process.
• Administer Caliper testing, analyze results and review with hiring managers.
• Offer and Post‑Offer Process:
  • Work with HR Leadership and team to ensure verbal and written offer is accurate, equitable and within Belimo standards. Negotiate terms, as needed.
  • Ensure applicant has signed and returned all required onboarding documentation, and share with HR team to ensure smooth pre‑employment background screening process.
• Represent Belimo at off‑site events including collegiate and community hiring events.
• Support HR projects and initiatives, as needed.
• Additional administrative tasks, as assigned.

• 3–5 years of proven work experience as a Recruiter or Talent Acquisition professional, ideally within a technical or engineering‑related industry.
• BS in Human Resources Management or relevant field strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (Success Factors a plus).
• Proficient with MS Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams.
• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates.
