Principal Enterprise Solutions Architect
Coverys is seeking an experienced Principal Enterprise Solutions Architect to lead technical solutioning across the enterprise. The role establishes architecture strategy, enforces standards, guides the organization through scalable, reliable, and secure solutions, and serves as a strategic advisor to the CIO.
Responsibilities Enterprise Architecture Strategy- Evaluate the current architecture at Coverys and align it with the future growth needs of the business.
- Identify anti-patterns and recommend remediations.
- Understand business needs and align the architecture to meet them in a scalable, reliable, and secure manner.
- Establish and enforce architectural principles, guidelines, and standards to ensure consistency and maintainability of the IT landscape.
- Act as the strategic leader in the AI journey, partnering closely with the CIO team and Data Analytics Director to evaluate AI solutions and recommend data architecture.
- Evaluate emerging technology and recommend appropriate solutions to move the organization toward its strategic goals.
- Facilitate the establishment and execution of the roadmap and vision for dev ops, release management, and testing automation across all of IT.
- Lead the team to adopt patterns and practices that ensure successful delivery and release.
- Facilitate the roadmap and vision for information delivery and management, including enterprise data and solution patterns.
- Lead solutioning and design efforts, driving delivery teams and IT leadership toward effective implementation of recommended solutions.
- Create detailed architectural designs and ensure effective implementation.
- Develop architectural blueprints for complex IT solutions, considering business requirements, technical feasibility, security, scalability, and performance.
- Present architectural designs and technical solutions to stakeholders, including business leaders and development teams.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with new technology implementation.
- Adopt an end‑to‑end approach, connecting all pieces of architecture to deliver solutions while leveraging available assets.
- Own enterprise architecture solutioning, including data architecture and infrastructure solution design, and collaborate on ETL processes and data quality.
- Perform supervisory responsibilities: hiring, training, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field;
Master’s preferred. - Minimum ten years of progressive technology architecture and end‑to‑end development life‑cycle support.
- Experience in dev ops and release change management.
- Minimum eight years guiding a team of architects, engineers, QA, and operations professionals.
- Experience with TOGAF and ADM methodology.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and related technologies.
- Expertise in data integration (API solutions), data platforms (Snowflake), data modeling, and governance.
- Strong analytical reasoning, impact‑focused, big‑picture thinking.
- Passion for innovation with a test‑and‑learn mindset.
- Strategic thinking and ability to mentor technical teams.
- Strong communication skills, collaborating with business to ensure solutions meet needs and are unbiased.
- Ability to assess technologies across data integration, enterprise solutions, infrastructure per standard architecture patterns, future scalability, security, and reliability.
- Change agent capable of guiding others through change.
Base salary range
: $159,000–$216,300. Individual compensation packages are based on location, skill set, experience, qualifications, and education.
