Job Summary:

Infosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, helping clients navigate their digital transformation. They are seeking a skilled GCP Migration ETL Developer for a critical project involving the migration of databases to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), requiring expertise in ETL processes and data migration.

Responsibilities:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Raleigh, NC, Richardson, TX, Indianapolis, IN, Hartford, CT, Phoenix, AZ or be willing to relocate to the area.

• This position may require travel in the US.

• Proven experience with IICS and GCP.

• Experience with Oracle databases and SQL.

• Proficiency in Python is highly desirable.

• Experience working in an agile environment.

• Strong knowledge of ETL tools and processes.

• Expertise in GCP services (Big Query, Cloud Storage, Dataproc, Cloud Composer).

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

• At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.

• At Least 2 years of experience in ETL development and data migration.

• Proven experience with IICS and GCP.

• Experience with Oracle databases and SQL.

• Proficiency in Python is highly desirable.

• Experience working in an agile environment.

• Strong knowledge of ETL tools and processes.

• Expertise in GCP services (Big Query, Cloud Storage, Dataproc, Cloud Composer).

GCP certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer) are a plus.

• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.

• Familiarity with Python scripting for data processing.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
