Data Engineer

Required Skills

• 2–3+ years of Data Engineering experience (open to strong junior profiles)
• Strong Databricks experience (must have)
• Experience working with databases (SQL Server / SQL Server Management Studio preferred)
• Familiarity with SAP data structures and querying
• Experience supporting reporting tools like Power BI
• Experience working with SharePoint or similar collaboration tools
• Background working in large enterprise environments

• Aerospace, defense, or manufacturing background
• Experience with Solumina or similar operational manufacturing systems
• Experience working across complex system integrations and data environments

Looking for a Data Engineer with strong Databricks and SQL experience to support data pipelines, reporting, and system integrations. This role will focus on improving existing data processes, troubleshooting performance issues, and helping teams better understand where data is coming from across systems (including SAP). Ideal candidate has experience in large enterprise environments; aerospace/manufacturing background is a plus.

• Work within existing data pipelines to support and improve data flow, integrations, and reporting
• Analyze and optimize SQL queries; troubleshoot performance issues and clean up inefficient queries
• Identify where data is sourced from and support report/data ownership troubleshooting
• Partner with Digital Technology (DT) teams to ensure proper pipeline usage and data integration approaches
• Pull and analyze data from SAP systems and underlying databases
• Support Power BI reporting by ensuring clean, accurate, and accessible data
• Be flexible and pivot when needed to find new ways to connect and integrate data sources
• Occasionally present findings, data insights, or recommendations to stakeholders

$42-56/hour

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
