Location: Danbury, CT Area (Hybrid Schedule Available)

Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Compensation: $155,000 – $170,000 base salary + 20% bonus

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead procurement strategy and supplier management initiatives across the Americas within a global manufacturing organization. This role will drive category strategies, optimize supplier performance, and partner with executive leadership to align procurement with business goals. This is a high-visibility opportunity for a procurement professional with strong leadership experience and a background in global manufacturing environments.

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across direct and indirect spend
• Manage supplier relationships, onboarding, performance, and negotiations
• Lead contract negotiations to optimize cost, quality, and service levels
• Partner with internal teams (Finance, Operations, Engineering, Legal) to align procurement strategy
• Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement across procurement processes
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and ensure compliance
• Lead and mentor procurement team members and support cross-functional collaboration

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field (advanced degree a plus)
• 10+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain leadership, preferably in a global manufacturing environment
• Strong background in category management, supplier strategy, and contract negotiation
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP and strong data analysis skills (Excel, Power BI a plus)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including working across global teams
• Professional certifications such as CPSM or CIPS
