  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large utility-scale solar projects, including self-performed work and large field crews.
  • Manage project schedules, labor forecasts, budgets, cost controls, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and enforce safety and quality plans, including site-specific quality management programs.
  • Oversee subcontractor procurement, contract negotiations, material purchasing, and supply chain coordination.
  • Prepare owner billings, manage change orders, and drive cash flow performance.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect schedule, budget, and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Mentor and lead project teams while fostering strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project closeout, warranty activities, and owner turnover.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • 5–8+ years of construction project management experience, including leadership of large field teams.
  • Strong understanding of utility-scale solar construction methods, sequencing, and interconnection processes.
  • Experience with scheduling, cost control, procurement, estimating, and project accounting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam Revu; CMiC experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of contract administration and risk management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively (50%+) and work on remote project sites for extended durations.
