For our client, we are seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Real Estate & Construction environment.
Location:
Danbury, CT - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $200,000 – $221,000 annually
Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of facilities operations including building automation, HVAC, and life safety systems to ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage critical infrastructure such as redundant power systems and precision cooling systems
- Lead and mentor a team of facilities professionals, promoting a culture of improvement and service excellence
- Develop and manage annual operating budgets and identify cost‑saving opportunities
- Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring proactive communication and relationship building
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 7 years progressive facilities management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Demonstrated expertise in building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and building automation systems
- Experience with specialized systems in laboratory and cleanroom environments
- Proven track record of managing multi‑million dollar budgets while maintaining service excellence
