CoWorx Staffing Services a Mechanical Assembler in Danbury, CT! The Mechanical Assembler plays a vital role in supporting both Made-to-Stock and Made-to-Order production lines. This position ensures that all assembly processes are carried out efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with production goals and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Select and gather required components for production orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assemble, inspect, and package sub-assemblies and final products according to provided instructions, blueprints, production orders, and quality guidelines.
- Perform specialized tasks and assignments that support the overall assembly workflow.
- Install required parts and components to complete sub-assembly and final assembly orders.
- Keep workstations, storage areas, and shared facilities clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Carry out related administrative tasks such as printing production documents, generating labels, confirming orders, and tracking progress in system software.
- Coordinate product transportation and logistics in collaboration with the Shipping team.
- Organize and prioritize production paperwork and pick lists based on customer delivery timelines and production urgency.
Desired Background/
Skills:
- 2-3 years of prior assembly experience preferred.
- Must be able to read/write in English.
- Must be proficient in using computers and automated machinery.
- High School Diploma, or GED.
