Lean Water Spider; 2nd Shift

Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a lean water spider position at a manufacturing company in Danbury CT. These are temp-to-hire positions. The lean water spider ensures continuous material flow, maintains inventory accuracy, and assists with production readiness. The hours are 3:30 p.m.

-12 a.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $23 an hour.

• Ensure uninterrupted production flow by staging, delivering, and replenishing materials in a timely manner
• Perform material movements physically and electronically using scanners, WMS/EWM systems, and equipment
• Retrieve materials from warehouse or MRA induction to resolve production delays
• Return materials and completed items ensuring accurate system transactions
• Consolidate pallets and organize staging areas
• Supply pallets and materials to production areas
• Execute accurate component counts and perform inventory spot checks
• Prepare and stage work orders
• Open packaging for large orders, remove valves, and discard packaging material
• Perform simple assembly tasks and assist production projects as needed
• Generate labels using scanners, printers and PCs
• Maintain logs and documentation
• Perform spray booth maintenance and record activities
• Arrange repair for faulty equipment
• Dispose of scrap material per procedure
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks
• Able to follow company policies and safety procedures
• Able to handle physical aspect of the job, including lifting up to 44 lbs.
• Experience with or ability to learn WMS/EWM systems
• Computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Able to speak, read and write English
• Able to pass pre-employment screenings
