Fairfield County Visitors & Convention Bureau (Visit Fairfield County)

Are you a creative marketer with strong design skills and a passion for promoting places and experiences? The Fairfield County Visitors & Convention Bureau (Visit Fairfield County) is seeking a Marketing Manager to help tell the story of Fairfield County and inspire visitors to explore everything our destination has to offer.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Marketing Manager will coordinate and execute a variety of marketing initiatives, including advertising, media relations, graphic design, and destination promotion. This position plays a key role in maintaining the organization's brand presence while supporting local tourism businesses and attractions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives.
  • Create content for email marketing, blogs, and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate advertising placements and media partnerships.
  • Design print and digital marketing materials.
  • Lead the design and production of the annual destination guide using Adobe InDesign.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with tourism partners, local businesses, vendors, and community organizations.
  • Work closely with the Content Manager and Information Specialist to support destination marketing efforts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Tourism, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of marketing, communications, tourism, or graphic design experience preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign and strong graphic design skills required.
  • Experience producing multi-page publications and print-ready materials.
  • Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with social media management and digital marketing platforms.
  • Knowledge of tourism, hospitality, or destination marketing is a plus.
