Interim Nurse Manager Needed in Danbury, CT. The position provides leadership for NICU and Pediatric units in a hospital setting. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, this leader will oversee a team of approximately 65 FTEs. The ideal candidate will have NICU and Pediatric leadership experience, a hands-on approach to unit operations, strong organization, patient focus, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.
Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
- Provide leadership for NICU and Pediatric units in a hospital setting.
- Oversee day-to-day unit operations and promote initiatives to improve the patient experience.
- Foster collaboration with physicians, support staff, and clinical teams; assist in clinical care as needed.
- Lead a diverse clinical team and manage unit operations with a hands-on approach.
- BSN or advanced degree in Nursing;
Master’s degree preferred. - Current CT RN license.
- Minimum three years of bedside experience, with at least two years in a relevant leadership role.

- Compensation Range: $150,000 to $160,000 annually.
- The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and retirement benefits.
