Overview
Eligible for a full‑time, employed Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) position within Danbury, Connecticut. The role follows a Monday‑through‑Friday schedule with predominantly outpatient coverage and includes a sign‑on/retention allowance of up to $30,000. No evenings, weekends, or on‑call duties.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care for hematology and oncology patients in the office and hospital setting.
- Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to coordinate multidisciplinary treatment plans.
- Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate therapies.
- Participate in continuous medical education, CME opportunities, and departmental meetings.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with patients and the care team.
- Board‑certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a minimum of two years of Hematology/Oncology clinical experience.
- State of Connecticut license and an active federal DEA registration.
- Controlled Substance Registration in Connecticut.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Salary range $120,000–$160,000 per year, commensurate with experience. The package includes competitive benefits, CME and dues allowances, and a sign‑on/retention bonus (up to $30,000).
