Position Overview

Danbury Hospital, affiliated with Northwell Health, is seeking a per diem Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our employed medical group at our Danbury Hospital in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Our CRNAs and Anesthesiologists are employed by Nuvance Health Medical Practice. We will also consider new graduates in our dynamic learning environment. The position includes some cross coverage to New Milford and Norwalk Hospitals.

Our experienced team of approximately 40 physicians and 40 CRNAs provides 24/7 coverage. Cases include spine, orthopedics, cardiac, and obstetrics. The role includes teaching residents, medical students, and CRNA students.

Salary Range: $180/hour per diem. The compensation package includes allowances for CME and dues expenses.

Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with about 70,000 ED visits per year. It is a teaching hospital affiliated with several medical schools. The medical group includes 900+ physicians serving a broad region in Western Connecticut and eastern New York.

Danbury, Connecticut, is located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains and is about 60 miles from New York City and 60 miles from Hartford. The community offers excellent housing, schools, and recreational opportunities.
