About This Role

The Travel Registered Nurse in the ICU at Northwell Health is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of treatment plans. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking to work in a dynamic environment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

• Pay: $2,902/week
• Location: Danbury, CT
• Facility: Northwell Health
• Department/Unit: ICU
• Schedule: Full-Time

• Assess the patient’s physiologic health status.
• Conduct patient interviews and explain policies and procedures.
• Determine mobility, sensory deficits, and skin condition.
• Assess level of pain and pain management.
• Communicate and document patient’s physiologic health status and plan of care.
• Assess patient’s psychosocial health status.
• Develop criteria for measurement of patient outcomes.
• Formulate the plan of care and establish priorities.
• Implement the plan of care while maintaining patient safety.
• Evaluate care provided for patient outcomes.

• Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in the related specialty.

  Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and/or Connecticut required. BLS certification required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
