About This Role

The Travel Registered Nurse in Med Surg/Tele at Northwell Health is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking for a dynamic work environment.

• Pay: $2,902/week
• Location: Danbury, CT
• Facility: Northwell Health
• Schedule: Full-Time

• Assess the patient's physiologic health status.
• Conduct patient interviews and explain policies and procedures.
• Determine mobility, sensory deficits, and skin condition.
• Assess level of pain and pain management.
• Communicate and document patient's physiologic health status and plan of care.
• Assess patient's psychosocial health status.
• Develop criteria for measurement of patient outcomes.
• Formulate the plan of care and establish priorities.
• Implement the plan of care while maintaining patient safety.
• Evaluate care provided for patient outcomes.

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in the related specialty.

  Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and/or Connecticut required. BLS certification required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
