Registered Nurse - Operating Room

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced outpatient surgical team in a state-of-the-art orthopedic surgery center.

• Provide direct patient care throughout the surgical process, including preoperative education, assessment, and post-surgical follow-up.
• Prepare patients for procedures, monitor them during surgery, and administer medications per physician and protocol guidelines.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families on postoperative care and recovery expectations.

• Active Connecticut RN license and a minimum of 1 year RN experience.
• Experience in Orthopedics, Operating Room, PACU, or Surgical Services preferred.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills in a collaborative environment.

• Full-time role, Monday–Friday, with no nights, weekends, or major holidays.
