Job SummaryProvides general support to maintain quality control laboratory within the company. Ensures that the quality control laboratory, bench surfaces, and instruments are cleaned, organized and maintained on routine basis. Sample, Standards, Chemicals, Reagents inventories are updated, and maintained on monthly basis.
** This shift is Tuesday to Saturday, 12:30pm to 9:00pm** Essential duties and key job responsibilities and essential functions.
- Conduct routine cleaning/washing of glassware, bench surfaces and instruments
- Samples and Standards inventories are performed, and enough stock shall be maintained
- Support laboratory operations as necessary, including but not limited to maintaining lab supplies
- Chemicals and Regents inventories are performed, and enough stock shall be maintained
- Expired Chemicals, Regents, Standards, Samples shall be disposed
- Ensuring timely waste disposal from the lab
- Applies general knowledge of GxP daily
- Follows written test methods and procedures
- Responsible for observing all Company, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines.
Duties and responsibilities are not limited to the work listed above and may include other assignments as necessary.
As a member of the Quality organization at Mann Kind Corp. the incumbent is also expected to use quantitative reasoning; and to be professional, committed to excellence, customer focused, detail oriented, a communicator, and a team player.
- High School/GED with minimum of 0 - 2 years related experience or the equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Some experience in a laboratory setting
- Good communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Access, Excel, Word and Power Point skills
