Line Cook; Temp

Summary The Line Cook (Temp) will perform essential duties in many different areas within the cafe, including the cash register area, salad bar prep, food prep (grill and line cook), to-order cooking and meal plating, and provide friendly, fast and accurate service in order to ensure an excellent customer experience.

• Support food preparation for breakfast and lunch service daily for Corporate Bistro
• Salad bar prep, food prep, grill/line cook, to-order cooking, meal plating.
• Rotation coverage for cash register and dishwasher during breaks.
• Work with the Group Leader to establish a weekly menu.
• Work directly with the Group Leader to execute planned menu and oversee daily food operations
• Assist with compliance with all local food safety requirements.
• Excels in performing essentials tasks including accuracy while running the cash register, ability to restock food items at the salad bar and around the cafe, helping customers with their needs
• Works as a team player to support other employees in completing their tasks.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Food Service Experience required
• HAACP and Servsafe certified beneficial but not required
• Availability Monday-Friday for breakfast and lunch service
• Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• The ability to read, write and comprehend instruction is necessary.
• Must be proficient with basic math skills
