The Retail Store Associate role provides an opportunity to work in a high‑impact, customer‑focused position, supporting the needs of customers and the community.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and actively resolving potential service issues.
• Give a warm, friendly greeting; maintain eye contact and offer help locating additional items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties—handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions—while following company policies.
• Maintain the sales floor: restock shelves, check vendor deliveries, update pricing information, and complete inventory tasks as directed.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring full operation of photo, beauty, and other services.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when required, including working regular shifts for growth and career development.
• Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that help people on their path to better health.

• Remain upright on feet for sustained periods.
• Lifting: up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly to move objects (including overhead lifting).
• Visual acuity: close visual acuity sufficient for activities such as using a computer terminal and reading small parts/details.

• At least 16 years of age.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer‑service setting.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Anticipated weekly hours: 29. Time type: part‑time. Pay range: $16.94 – $23.94 per hour. Eligible for benefits such as dental, vision, wellness resources, employee discounts, and access to voluntary benefits based on hours worked and eligibility.
