Support Associate - Soma

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Support Associate is responsible for supporting a customer and product‑focused sales culture where the core principles are at the forefront of all store operations. This role performs a variety of sales operations functions, including merchandise handling, stock processing, and stockroom organization.

• Process merchandise: ensure items are properly stored, ticketed, and easily located for replenishment; reorganize merchandise as needed to maximize stock space.
• Ensure new products are merchandised and represented in a timely manner.
• Enter all receiving documents into the computer system, reconcile merchandise invoices, and complete store‑to‑store transfers and Locate requests accurately and on time.
• Process visual packet materials, props and signage; properly store hardware, hangers and sign holders.
• Participate in pricing changes and markdowns.
• Alert store management to cash supply needs.
• Assist with visual directives, including floor sets, window changes, visual presentations and signage placement.
• Assist with boutique cleanliness and organization.
• Model, support and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards, offering a cohesive omni‑channel experience.
• Promote an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem‑solving.
• Seek personal developmental opportunities and solicit feedback.
• Perform any additional duties assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous stock or cashier experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
• Must be able to work the majority of the shift standing.
• Ability to work quickly and within strict timelines.
• Demonstrate teamwork.
• Exposure to visual merchandising and product placement techniques desired.
• Communicate with customers, associates, and management; wear/communicate with headset.
• Regular attendance essential; ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.

• Constant walking/standing – 67–100 % of an 8‑hour shift.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs – 1–33 % of an 8‑hour shift.
• Frequent climbing – 34–66 % of an 8‑hour shift.

The wage range for this position is $16.94–$21.20. Successful candidates’ wage rates will be determined based on their qualifications. Store associates are eligible for incentive compensation based on store metrics and other variables at the discretion of the company.
