Part-Time Retail Supervisor - Danbury Fair; CT

We are seeking a part‑time Team Leader to join our Retail team at Danbury Fair Mall, Danbury, CT. The role serves as the face of the store, training and motivating sales associates while ensuring high standards of customer service and visual merchandising.

• Assist the Assistant Store Manager (ASM) and Store Manager (SM) in maintaining holiday, attendance, and team scheduling.
• Supervise Sales Associates during shifts, addressing issues in line with company policies and providing coaching and feedback.
• Complete purchase orders for store and office supplies within the operating budget.
• Ensure all Sales Associates follow money handling procedures.
• Maintain a well‑organised stockroom and ensure products are merchandised on the floor and loss‑prevention targets are met.
• Help the ASM and SM achieve a high standard of merchandise presentation following store guidelines.
• Receive and process product deliveries and store materials.
• Maintain store graphics systems, including pricing, and replenish all fixtures.
• Evaluate competition visual merchandising techniques and identify opportunities to grow the business.
• Train Sales Associates on visual merchandising techniques according to retail guidelines.
• Deliver inspirational retail experiences built on brand values.
• Carry out daily cash handling, inventory and sales auditing.

• Leadership or management experience in a retail store environment.
• Experience in employee training, cash handling, inventory auditing, and POS systems.
• Strong visual merchandising skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand and walk for at least two consecutive hours and work at heights (ladder use, stooping, kneeling, crouching).
• Availability to work up to 30 hours per week, including weekends; demonstrate a minimum of four total days of availability.
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills, able to coach team members in a safe, friendly environment.

• Hourly wage range $23.50 – $24.90, based on responsibilities and market benchmarks.
