Job Summary
A Maze Host/Stagehand provides guests with a safe and fun experience at each park house/maze attraction.
Key Responsibilities- Delight each guest by providing exceptional customer service, conveying a positive and friendly attitude, and engaging with guests in a fun and exciting manner.
- Ensure the safe and continuous operation of all House/Maze attractions.
- Complete a daily safety checklist before operation of the ride.
- Explain safety procedures to House/Maze attendees.
- Ensure that the number of attendees does not exceed maximum capacity.
- Effectively communicate with coworkers and guests to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Assist guests in and out of the maze structures and cycle through the line efficiently while following all safety procedures.
- Accurately respond to guest questions in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Proactively monitor assigned areas and quickly identify and report any safety hazards or other risks to the proper authorities.
- Ensure compliance with and enforce all park policies, procedures, and labor laws.
- Perform all other duties assigned by leadership.

Makeup Training (Makeup Artists only) - Tuesday, 9/8 – 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM:

Daytime - Thursday, 9/10 – 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM: mAlice and Blood craft (Group Rehearsal)

- Must be at least 16 years of age to comply with child labor laws.
- Must be able to obtain working papers if under the age of 18.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and nights up to 12:00 AM.
- Must be playful, outgoing, friendly, and convey a positive, guest‑centric attitude.
- Must possess effective verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to follow direction, multi‑task, handle stress, and work as part of a fast‑paced team.
- Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. - Language:
Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English;
Spanish or other bilingual skills are a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday.
- Ability to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, crawl, or reach above shoulders.
- Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 20 pounds or more.
- Frequent exposure to outdoor and indoor areas of the park.
- Subject to extreme warm or cold temperatures during the autumn months.
- Exposure to variable weather conditions: high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, snow, and ice.
- Frequent interruptions, constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, flashing lights, strobe lights, and dark shadowy environments.
- Frequent exposure to heavily populated areas.
- Flexible schedule.
