Retail Sales Associate

Pay Range: $17.04 - $21.20 per hour.

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products, and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide outstanding customer service and exceed expectations.
• Maintain in‑stock condition, cleanliness, and safety of assigned areas.
• Collaborate with management and teammates to achieve sales goals.
• Process customers at checkout using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
• Handle customer refunds and exchanges following established guidelines.
• Follow cash, check, and credit‑card acceptance procedures.
• Create price tags and merchandise signage.
• Stock, tag, and display merchandise.
• Act in accordance with the company’s core values.
• Understand and comply with safety processes.
• Answer telephone calls per company guidelines.
• Assist in other store areas as needed.
• Work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic math skills.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Some positions may require completion of forklift certification (F&D).
• When required by state law, proven drug‑test clearance for heavy‑equipment use.

While performing duties, you may be exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. Typical noise level is quiet to moderate.

Physical/Sensory Requirements: occasionally exert 30‑60lb of force, 20‑30lb frequently, or up to 20lb continuously to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects. Require use of hands and fingers, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, or stooping.
