Job Description:

  • Execute Regional Sales Strategy:
    Leverage your solar industry knowledge to execute effective sales strategies, maximizing volume and driving profitable growth across the territory.
  • Build Strategic Relationships:
    Serve as the primary relationship manager for distributors, installers, and battery partners within the territory to drive growth and alignment.
  • Deliver High-Impact Presentations:
    Develop and present creative, results-oriented sales and training presentations to key stakeholders.
  • Communicate Value:
    Develop a deep understanding of customer needs to clearly communicate ConnectDER products' value proposition and ensure consistent messaging across all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
    Work closely with Program Managers, Product Owners, and Marketing to provide product demonstrations, deliver training, and represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
  • Analyze & Forecast:
    Monitor ongoing business trends to accurately forecast sales volumes and provide feedback on necessary product or process changes.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of solar market experience, preferably in Channel sales
  • Technical understanding of the electrical grid and solar PV installation
  • Expert knowledge of the Northeast solar/clean energy market
  • Proven experience building sales plans and implementing sales strategies that drive results/profitability
  • Ability to communicate ideas and concepts to influence business partners
  • Skilled in business acumen, financial competency, negotiation, and problem-solving.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or other related field
  • Experience training and presenting materials to audiences of various sizes
