The EAP Sales Executive is accountable for driving new business growth within a defined geographic and segment‑based territory.
This senior individual contributor role is responsible for sourcing, shaping, and closing Employee Assistance Program (EAP) opportunities to deliver predictable, profitable revenue. The leader serves as the territory’s subject matter expert, building strong consultant and broker relationships, leading complex RFP pursuits end‑to‑end, and representing the full value of Resources for Living (RFL) with precision in competitive market situations.
In addition to a base salary, this opportunity is also eligible for Sales Incentive Commission.
Key Responsibilities Own Territory Growth & New Logo Acquisition- Drive new business sales strategy and execution across assigned territory
- Identify, develop, and close new logo opportunities
- Build and manage a robust pipeline aligned to growth targets
- Cultivate trusted advisor relationships with key consultants and brokers
- Proactively position RFL capabilities within consultant channels
- Influence opportunity development and market perception
- Lead end‑to‑end RFP strategy, response, and submission
- Shape deal strategy, messaging, and win themes
- Deliver compelling finalist presentations that differentiate RFL
- Navigate pricing, underwriting, and deal approvals, partnering cross‑functionally to develop competitive, profitable proposals
- Lead pricing strategy and negotiation in alignment with margin goals
- Secure internal approvals and drive deals to close
- Clearly articulate RFL’s clinical, digital, and operational differentiation
- Tailor messaging to employer needs and market dynamics
- Position integrated EAP and behavioral health capabilities effectively
- Develop and execute a disciplined territory and account plan
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting
- Collaborate with internal partners across account management, clinical, product, and underwriting
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare, EAP, behavioral health, or related sales
- Demonstrated success in new business acquisition and closing complex deals
- Proven ability to lead consultant/broker relationships
- Strong experience managing RFPs and finalist presentations
- Financial acumen including pricing, underwriting, and margin management
- Executive presence with strong communication and storytelling skills
- Experience with employer‑sponsored mental well‑being, EAP, or behavioral health solutions
- Knowledge of public and/or national account segments
- Familiarity with multi‑product or integrated health solutions
- Consistent new logo growth and pipeline expansion
- High win rates in competitive RFPs and finalist situations
- Strong consultant/broker advocacy in the territory
- Discipline in forecasting, deal management, and internal alignment
Pay Range:
The typical pay range for this role is $75,500.00 – $. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
