Job Overview

Responsibilities- Drive business growth by creating and executing smart territory plans.
- Spot opportunities, open doors, and build lasting partnerships with healthcare professionals to create value.
- Leverage advanced sales methodologies—including the Challenger Selling Model and Strategic Account Management—to demonstrate value and accelerate revenue growth.
- Deliver product education and ongoing support to providers, patients, and clinical educators.
- Represent Tandem at events, conventions, and community outreach.
- Keep the territory organized with accurate CRM tracking and timely reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth sales and customer experiences.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory, legal, and safety requirements.
- Work closely with a Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist to bring innovative insulin pump therapy to patients and providers in the community.
- Grow the territory, build strong relationships, and help people living with diabetes thrive.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) plus 3+ years of industry sales experience, preferably in diabetes, endocrinology, insulin infusion pumps, or managed care.
- Ability to travel up to 80% within the territory; valid driver’s license, insurance, and good driving record required.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong communication, relationship‑building, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving market.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
Base pay ranges from $91,890 to $112,310 annually, with a target earning potential of $166,890 to $187,310 annually, depending on experience and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, health‑savings accounts, flexible‑spending accounts, 11 paid holidays per year, a minimum of 20 days of paid time off (starting in year1), and a 401k plan with company match.
