Parts Counter Person

As a Parts Counter Person at VW Danbury, you will be responsible for assisting customers and technicians with their parts needs, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining a well-organized parts inventory.

• Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and obtaining the correct parts for vehicles.
• Process parts orders, including looking up parts in the system, preparing invoices, and handling payments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, and assist with receiving and stocking new parts shipments.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering inquiries, and offering solutions to parts-related questions.
• Communicate effectively with the service department to ensure timely delivery of parts for repairs.
• Assist with merchandising and maintaining a clean and organized parts department.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient in using computer systems for parts look-up and inventory management.
• Ability to lift and move heavy parts (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
