Restaurant Maintenance Technician
Connecticut | Company Vehicle Provided | $35-$45/hr + Overtime + On-Call Premium Pay
Do you enjoy troubleshooting restaurant equipment and keeping busy restaurant operations running smoothly? We're seeking a hands-on Restaurant Maintenance Technician to support approximately 30 restaurant locations throughout Connecticut and occasionally Westchester County, NY.

- Diagnose and repair commercial restaurant equipment including fryers, broilers, toasters, and holding units
- Perform minor plumbing repairs including faucets, drains, and fixtures
- Complete minor electrical repairs such as plugs, cords, switches, and lighting upgrades
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
- Complete general interior and exterior maintenance including painting, carpentry, ceiling repairs, and tile work
- Order and manage parts inventory as needed
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers when necessary
- Maintain service records and complete basic administrative documentation
- Respond to after-hours emergency service calls as part of an on-call rotation
- Restaurant maintenance or QSR maintenance experience strongly preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills with commercial kitchen equipment
- Experience repairing fryers, broilers, grills, holding equipment, and food service equipment
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and commercial HVAC
- Ability to work independently across multiple locations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized, reliable, and self-motivated
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Trade school or technical education preferred
- 3+ years of maintenance technician experience
- 1+ year of restaurant equipment maintenance experience
- 1+ year of plumbing repair and troubleshooting experience
- 1+ year of electrical troubleshooting experience
- 1+ year of commercial HVAC knowledge
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the territory
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for nights and weekends
