Job Description:

Innovations Lighting is seeking a meticulous and reliable Warehouse General Worker with specialized experience in Fed Ex and UPS shipping operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of shipping and receiving, ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of packages while upholding a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping Operations:

• Prepare and process shipments through Fed Ex and UPS, including labeling and packaging.
• Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of all outgoing shipments.

Receiving Operations:

• Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments and inventory.

Team Coordination:

• Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure proper handling and storage of goods.
• Assist with stock management and perform regular inventory checks.

Equipment Operation:

• Safely and efficiently operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (forklift certification is a plus).

Workplace Maintenance:

• Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications:

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Previous experience in shipping and receiving, particularly with Net Suite, Fed Ex and UPS.

Skills:

• Proficiency with shipping software and systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25lbs and move heavy packages and stand for extended periods.
